Gluten-free lunchboxes made easy

Here at Gluten Free Family HQ, we’ve been pretty busy behind the scenes putting together our first e-booklet of menu ideas for those eternally troublesome things they call ‘lunchboxes’.

The end result is the fruit of about three years of experimentation on our very own guinea pigs (aka children) who have done more than their fair share of lunchtime testing and tasting.

We realise the gluten-free veterans among you probably have your kids’ lunchboxes well and truly sorted, but for those new to the gluten-free lifestyle, this is one of the realms that can prove most daunting. So here is a collection of ideas to help you on your way.

If you are wondering why we’ve put a small price tag ($3.95) on the download, it’s part of our philosophy to cover our running costs through revenue streams other than online advertising. This means we don’t innundate you with sponsored posts or pop-up ads for belly fat diets and the like – products that are not necessarily of interest to you.

It’s not that we have a completely anti-advertising stance, it’s just that we haven’t come across a model that offers us the independence and transparency we want for our highly valued readership. Though we are always happy to review products, we remain staunchly independent of market influence.

Another caveat: we are not professional chefs, but we have been in the gluten-free trenches for quite a while…  enough to have gathered what we think is a nice collection of illustrated ideas that are not too difficult to execute.

Inside you’ll find fun finger-friendly fare, and wherever possible we’ve attempted to supply shortcuts and guidance on the basics – like how to make a gluten-free sandwich taste great.

So if you are looking out for some lunchtime inspiration, you can download our ebooklet here.

Regards,

Lucy and Mandy

Thankyou – these ideas are fantastic! My 2 yr old son was diagnosed 7 weeks ago, and lunch is the meal that I am really struggling with. I will try these next week :)

Thanks so much for the feedback – and goodluck from us!
